Welcome to Linbro Dental & Aesthetics

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Linbro Dental & Aesthetics, a registered dental and medical aesthetics practice in South Africa. These Terms apply to all patients, website visitors, and service users. We operate in compliance with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) regulations, the National Health Act, and all applicable South African laws.

1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1 Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or using any of our dental or aesthetic services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

1.2 Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

2. Services Provided

2.1 Scope of Services

Linbro Dental & Aesthetics provides comprehensive dental services (including but not limited to consultations, cleanings, fillings, root canals, crowns, braces, veneers, teeth whitening) and medical aesthetic services (including Botox, dermal fillers, laser treatments, IV therapy). All services are performed by qualified, HPCSA-registered professionals.

2.2 Professional Relationship

The provision of services creates a professional doctor-patient relationship governed by ethical guidelines of the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and applicable South African healthcare laws.

2.3 Treatment Limitations

All treatment recommendations are based on clinical assessment. We reserve the right to refuse treatment if we determine it is not in the patient's best interest, medically contraindicated, or falls outside our scope of practice.

3. Appointments & Scheduling

3.1 Booking Appointments

Appointments can be made via WhatsApp (061 208 4847), phone, email, or our website contact form. Appointments are confirmed subject to availability. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time slot.

3.2 Cancellations & Rescheduling

We require at least 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee. Emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

3.3 Late Arrivals

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may need to reschedule to avoid disrupting other patients' appointments. We appreciate your understanding and punctuality.

3.4 Emergency Services

We strive to accommodate same-day emergency appointments for urgent dental situations. Contact us as early as possible for emergency scheduling. Emergency cases will be prioritized based on clinical urgency.

4. Fees, Payment & Medical Aid

4.1 Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, card payments, and electronic funds transfer. Invoices will be provided for all services rendered.

4.2 Medical Aid

We accept 15+ medical aid providers. Patients are responsible for verifying their coverage and benefits before treatment. While we submit claims on your behalf, you remain ultimately responsible for payment. Any shortfall not covered by your medical aid must be settled by you.

4.3 Treatment Estimates

Treatment cost estimates are provided in good faith based on initial examination. Final costs may vary depending on treatment complexity, materials used, and unforeseen circumstances. We will inform you of significant cost changes before proceeding.

4.4 Outstanding Accounts

Accounts not settled within 30 days may incur interest charges. Persistent non-payment may result in suspension of services and referral to debt collection. We reserve the right to withhold treatment records until outstanding balances are cleared (subject to legal requirements).

5. Patient Responsibilities

5.1 Medical History

You must provide accurate and complete medical history, including allergies, medications, and pre-existing conditions. Failure to disclose relevant medical information may compromise treatment safety and outcomes.

5.2 Informed Consent

You will be asked to provide informed consent before treatment, confirming you understand the procedure, risks, benefits, and alternatives. You have the right to ask questions and withdraw consent at any time before treatment begins.

5.3 Post-Treatment Care

You are responsible for following post-treatment instructions provided by our practitioners. Failure to follow care instructions may affect treatment outcomes and healing. Contact us immediately if you experience unexpected complications.

5.4 Aesthetic Consultations

All aesthetic procedures require an initial consultation with Dr. Ahmed. You must be 18 years or older for aesthetic treatments, or have parental/guardian consent if a minor.

6. Liability & Disclaimers

6.1 Standard of Care

We provide services in accordance with accepted professional standards and HPCSA guidelines. However, we cannot guarantee specific treatment outcomes due to the variability of individual patient responses.

6.2 Treatment Risks

All dental and aesthetic procedures carry inherent risks, which will be explained during consultation. We take all reasonable precautions to minimize risks, but complications may occur despite proper care.

6.3 Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by South African law. We maintain professional indemnity insurance as required by the HPCSA. Claims must be made within the timeframes specified by applicable laws.

6.4 Website Disclaimer
